DEA Reclassified CBD-Based Drug, Epidiolex, to Show Lowest Risk for Abuse

미국마약관리국(DEA)는 일부 CBD 제품을 1등급(Schedule I)에서 5등급(Schedule V)으로 재분류했습니다.
The Drug Enforcement Administration has reclassified some CBD products from Schedule V to Schedule I.

CBD(cannabidiol)는 정신자극(psychoactive) 효과를 일으키지 않는 칸나비스 추출물입니다.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is a derivative of marijuana that does not cause psychoactive effects.

분류 변경은 지난 6월 FDA가 CBD 기반 뇌전증 치료제를 승인한 결과입니다.
The change in classification is the result of the Food and Drug Administration approving a CBD-based epilepsy drug in June.

DEA가 FDA 승인 의약품 Epidiolex를 재분류했지만, CBD 전체를 완전히 재분류하지는 않았습니다.
Though the DEA has reclassified the FDA-approved drug, Epidiolex, it did not reclassify CBD totally.
